Safety at work is one of the most important things in any company. To avoid any problem, we must know well what type of work clothing our employees need and thus prevent any danger or risk.

Protective gloves are used to protect both hands and arms during work. There are different types of safety gloves , but in today's article we will focus on thermal protection gloves against heat and/or fire.

What is a protective glove
against heat and/or fire

Thermal protection gloves against heat and/or fire are made with special materials that provide insulation against high temperatures that can occur at work due to different causes such as:

  • Flame exposure.
  • Contact heat.
  • Convective heat.
  • Radiant heat.
  • Molten metal splash.

Gloves for protection against heat and/or fire are classified into 4 levels, with 1 being the least protective.
