The detectable plasters are water-repellent, pollution-resistant and elastic, made of resistant PU (polyurethane)
The micro-perforated PU film allows the skin to breathe, which is important for proper wound healing. This also prevents the skin from becoming moist under the band-aid, which would allow the band-aid to loosen more quickly.
The PU film also protects the wound from water, dirt, bacteria and viruses.
These plasters are very comfortable and highly suitable for moving parts of the body. The x-ray thread under the wound pad makes them visible to x-ray detectors.
