The micro-perforated PU film allows the skin to breathe, which is important for proper wound healing. It also prevents the skin from getting wet under the band-aid, which would allow the band-aid to loosen more quickly.
The PU film also protects the wound from water, dirt, bacteria and viruses.
These band-aids are very comfortable and highly suitable for the moving parts of the body. The x-ray thread under the wound pad makes them visible to x-ray detectors.
